Call for Papers: JHEDS 2026 Issue

The Journal of Higher Education and Development Studies (JHEDS) invites researchers, scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to submit original research papers and scholarly articles for publication in its 2026 issue. JHEDS is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal committed to promoting high-quality research and critical dialogue on higher education and development studies in diverse global contexts.

The journal welcomes empirical research, theoretical papers, policy analyses, systematic reviews, and reflective studies that address current issues and emerging trends in higher education and development. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: teaching and learning innovation, curriculum and assessment, educational leadership and governance, quality assurance, equity and inclusion, internationalization, digital transformation, sustainability, higher education policy, and the role of universities in social and economic development.

Submissions should demonstrate originality, academic rigor, and a clear contribution to knowledge and practice. JHEDS encourages interdisciplinary approaches and welcomes contributions from both early-career and established researchers. Studies grounded in local contexts with broader implications are particularly encouraged.

All manuscripts will be reviewed through a double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly excellence. Accepted papers will be published in the 2026 issue and shared with an international academic audience.

Authors are requested to follow the journal’s submission guidelines and ethical standards, available on the JHEDS website: https://jheds.pedf.org.pk/index.php/jheds/Authors-guideline
